Welcome to our Tubakisou Inn.
We are a small, cute Japanese-style ryokan built in the 1930s. The building is made of wood and only 4 groups of guests can make reservations for the entire ryokan.
There are a number of hotels and ryokan in the ancient capital of Nara, and the Tubakisou is one of them. It is located near Kofukuji Temple and Sarusawa-Ike Pond, about a 5-minute walk from downtown, but tucked away in the old, quiet old town of Nara.
As a small ryokan, it does not have the latest equipment and facilities, but the owner will do his best to serve guests from overseas.
We hope you will visit us at Tsubakiso in Nara, a place that retains the atmosphere of the good old days.
At present, Tsubakiso is mainly used by guests from Europe and North America.
We do not accept Japanese guests. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
