Tubakiso is a small ryokan located in a quiet residential area near Sarusawa Pond.
The ryokan opened shortly after World War II, and the building is also prewar. All rooms are connecting rooms and can accommodate four couples (three rooms have a capacity of two people, but rooms for longer stays can accommodate up to four people and are in a separate building from the three rooms, with a separate entrance. All rooms for use are on the second floor).
All four rooms are Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats, one room has a living room where you can rest, and the other room has futon bedding. There are no beds in the rooms, but we use high-grade bed mats at the base.
Since many of our guests are foreign travelers who want to rest on soft bedding as soon as they arrive, we make sure that they can rest immediately after check-in.
The following are common to all rooms.
Check-in time is from 16:00 to 21:00 and check-out time is from 10:00 to 15:00.
Regarding check-in
If your flight is delayed, please call us upon arrival at the airport and we will wait for you until 22:00. If you do not contact us, we will consider your cancellation as a no-show.
You may also enter the room early, even before check-in, as long as the room has been cleaned.
If you wish to bring children under 12 years of age, please inform the accommodation at the time of reservation. Please indicate the number of children and their ages in the “Request” box. Even if you are bringing children, we may not be able to arrange a separate room for them, and we will discuss room availability with you.
